JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Partille Municipality is now looking for a pipe layer (VA technician) with a forward-looking attitude and drive who wants to contribute to the development of our workplace. More and more people want to live and reside in Partille, which means that we in the VA unit need to grow in order to deliver our services to the residents. Do you want to be one of us?

The tasks of a pipe layer (VA technician) in Partille Municipality are varied in size, location, and design. Your tasks may involve preventive maintenance or direct repairs of Partille Municipality's water and sewage network. In your daily work, you will collaborate closely with colleagues and contractors. Regardless of the size of the project, depth of the trench, or diameter of the pipes, you and your colleagues place great importance on ensuring that the work is carried out safely. Together with employees and external contractors, you will perform trenching, pipe laying, and ground works within the relevant contract area. The team consists of eleven people, five of whom work as pipe layers (VA technicians).

On-call duty may be included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is engaged, responsible, and wants to be involved in the development of the operations. Previous experience or education in construction work or VA is required, as well as a B driver's license. You need to be able to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish to collaborate effectively with your colleagues and communicate professionally with our customers.

The following are meritorious:

• Work experience in trenching
• Computer skills - as we use digital tools in our operations
• Customer service experience - as the job involves recurring customer contacts
• C driver's license

As a VA technician, you take initiative, start activities, and achieve results. You take responsibility for your tasks and can structure your workday effectively. You adapt easily and can quickly adjust to changing circumstances. We are looking for someone who is good at collaborating with others, where you listen, communicate, and contribute to a positive work environment. We place great emphasis on good communication and social skills.

Upon offer of employment, a criminal record check may be required. The position may be subject to security classification.
